Olalus Community Health Care Services is qualified to provide the following Pennsylvania Waivers Programs. These waiver programs provide funding for supports and services to help individual to live in their homes and communities. Waivers offer an array of services and benefits such as choice of qualified providers, due process and health and safety each waiver has its own unique set of eligibility requirements and services.
Aging Waiver – Provides long-term care services to qualified older Pennsylvanians 60 years or older living in their homes and communities.
Attendant Care / Act 150 – Provide services for mentally-alert Pennsylvanians between eighteen (18) and fifty-nine (59) years of age with physical disabilities to continue to live in their home and community with support and services.
COMMCARE Waiver – Home and community-based program developed for individuals 21 years of age or older who experience a medically determinable diagnosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The COMMCARE Waiver can help you remain as independent as possible.
Independence Waiver – Is a Waiver program that provides services to individuals between the ages of 18 years to 60 with physical disabilities to allow them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible.
LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) – Managed care program for frail, elderly recipients age 55 or older who have been determined to need “nursing facility level of care” but wish to remain in their home and community as long as possible.
OBRA Waiver – Is a Home and Community Based Waiver program that provides services to persons age 18-59 with severe developmental physical disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy or similar conditions to allow them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible. Age 18-59 individuals who are currently in the waiver prior to 7/1/2006 will age in place. Individuals age 60 and older will be referred to the Aging Waiver.
